Wind Energy Development in Sri Lanka

#Renewable Energy is a form of #energy resource that is replaced by a natural process at a rate that is equal to or faster than the rate at which that resource is being consumed.

Sri Lanka is and Island enormous wind #energy potential . Photo shows a wind farm at #Hambanthota South -eastern coast of Sri Lanka. Project consists of #NEG Micon M1500-600 wind turbines (Danish Made )of 600 KW each with a total installed capacity of 3 MW, generates up to approximately 4,500 MWh of power annually.
